These carpets are characterized by their distinctive geometric design, known as "ephant duck", which consists of repetitive motifs of oval or romboid forms arranged in orderly rows.

The predominant colors on the Bukhara carpets include red tones, granates, beige, blue and green. They are made with high quality wool, which gives them a soft and silky touch. They also have a high density of knots, making them resistant and durable.
